Leviticus 19

1And Yehovah spoke to Moses, saying, 2Speak to all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say to them, You shall be holy; for I Yehovah your God am holy. 3Every man of you shall fear his mother, and his father; and you shall keep my sabbaths: I am Yehovah your God. 4Do not turn to idols, nor make for yourselves molten gods: I am Yehovah your God. 5And when you offer a sacrifice of peace-offerings to Yehovah, you shall offer it that you may be accepted. 6It shall be eaten the same day you offer it, and on the next day: and if anything remains until the third day, it shall be burned with fire. 7And if it is eaten at all on the third day, it is an abomination; it shall not be accepted: 8but everyone who eats it shall bear his iniquity, because he has profaned the holy thing of Yehovah: and that soul shall be cut off from his people. 9And when you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not wholly reap the corners of your field, nor shall you gather the gleaning of your harvest. 10And you shall not glean your vineyard, nor shall you gather the fallen fruit of your vineyard; you shall leave them for the poor and for the sojourner: I am Yehovah your God. 11You shall not steal; nor shall you deal falsely, nor lie to one another. 12And you shall not swear by my name falsely, and profane the name of your God: I am Yehovah. 13You shall not oppress your neighbor, nor rob him: the wages of a hired servant shall not abide with you all night until the morning. 14You shall not curse the deaf, nor put a stumbling block before the blind; but you shall fear your God: I am Yehovah. 15You shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: you shall not respect the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty; but in righteousness you shall judge your neighbor. 16You shall not go up and down as a talebearer among your people: nor shall you stand against the blood of your neighbor: I am Yehovah. 17You shall not hate your brother in your heart: you shall surely rebuke your neighbor, and not bear sin because of him. 18You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people; but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am Yehovah. 19You shall keep my statutes. You shall not let your cattle breed with a different kind: you shall not sow your field with two kinds of seed: nor shall there come upon you a garment of two kinds of material mixed together. 20And whoever lies carnally with a woman who is a slave woman, betrothed to a husband, and not at all redeemed, nor given her freedom; they shall be punished; they shall not be put to death, because she was not free. 21And he shall bring his trespass-offering to Yehovah, to the door of the tent of meeting, even a ram for a trespass-offering. 22And the priest shall make atonement for him with the ram of the trespass-offering before Yehovah for his sin which he has sinned: and the sin which he has sinned shall be forgiven him. 23And when you come into the land, and have planted all kinds of trees for food, then you shall count their fruit as their uncircumcision: three years they shall be as uncircumcised to you; it shall not be eaten. 24But in the fourth year all its fruit shall be holy, for giving praise to Yehovah. 25And in the fifth year you shall eat of its fruit, that it may yield to you its increase: I am Yehovah your God. 26You shall not eat anything with the blood: nor shall you use enchantments, nor practice augury. 27You shall not round the corners of your heads, nor shall you mar the corners of your beard. 28You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am Yehovah. 29Do not profane your daughter, to make her a prostitute; lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land become full of wickedness. 30You shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am Yehovah. 31Do not turn to those who have familiar spirits, nor to the wizards; do not seek them out, to be defiled by them: I am Yehovah your God. 32You shall rise up before the gray head, and honor the face of the old man, and you shall fear your God: I am Yehovah. 33And if a stranger sojourns with you in your land, you shall not do him wrong. 34The stranger who sojourns with you shall be to you as the native-born among you, and you shall love him as yourself; for you were sojourners in the land of Egypt: I am Yehovah your God. 35You shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in measures of length, of weight, or of quantity. 36Just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin, you shall have: I am Yehovah your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt. 37And you shall observe all my statutes, and all my ordinances, and do them: I am Yehovah.
